How long does a build take?+
Most sites go live in three to four weeks, door to door. Rush builds land in two when the calendar allows. That is the +$500 add-on, not a wish.
What does $1,500 actually get me?+
Design, build, and launch of a custom Next.js site up to five pages, deployment to hosting in your own name, SSL, analytics, a contact form that delivers, and a 30-day performance audit. No templates anywhere in the process.
How does the $500 performance piece work?+
$500 of the price is a bond tied to numbers in the contract: Lighthouse 90+ on mobile and zero layout shift. We measure at launch and again 30 days in, and you get the audit either way. Miss the marks and you keep the bond. Simple as that.
Do I have to host with you?+
No. Pick a lane: self-host and every build deploys to an account in your own name, no markup, you own it outright. Or let us manage hosting for a flat $40 a month and never think about it. Either way we set it up, wire the domain, and keep watch, and you get the repository regardless.
What is SMTP, and do I need it?+
It is how websites send email: order confirmations, booking receipts, contact-form deliveries that do not land in spam. If your site needs to talk back, we wire it on request ($40 a month), DKIM and SPF included.
Can I update the site myself?+
With the CMS add-on, yes: text, images, and pages from a friendly dashboard, and the site rebuilds itself. Without it, edits are on us; care-plan clients get a response inside a business day.
I already have a website. Rebuild or repair?+
We will tell you straight on the first call. If the bones are good we say so and walk away cheap. Usually the bones are a 2016 page-builder, and a rebuild pays for itself in speed alone.
Who owns the code?+
You do, outright: repository, design files, domain, all of it. We are allergic to hostage situations.
